Hi Tristan,
I have been doing a lot of work in this area, but related to TMS. Are
you planning to map all of the data in Multi Mimsy or just a subset of
the data?
It might also be easier to do this in two stages:
1: Make an basic API that exposes the sub set of data you are interested in.
2: Map the presented data to the CIDOC CRM.
It might then be easier to generate example sets of API data and look
for existing mappings for that. Also this two stage approach means that
if you ever have to map the data to other ontologies/schemas then you
only have to redo stage 2.
You may also want to have a look at the http://www.researchspace.org/
project, which has been looking at the CIDOC CRM and how it might be
related to different collection management data structures.
