Overview:
This is an event held by the Information Services Group (London and South-East Section) and Legislation Services at The National Archives.
Explore in depth the website www.legislation.gov.uk for researching legislation online. The course is suitable for all levels of experience and information sectors. It will be a hands on session so places are limited. A detailed manual will also be provided. If you need more confidence with tracking down and viewing legislation then this is the course for you!

1.50pm-2pm - registration
2pm-2.30pm - introduction to legislation.gov.uk and brief overview of legislation
2.30pm-3.10pm – browsing and searching legislation.gov.uk
3.10pm-.3.30pm – refreshments
3.30pm-4.10pm – viewing content and amendments on legislation.gov.uk
4.10pm-4.50 – more advanced techniques and an information sharing session to discuss experiences with using the site, hints and tips etc
4.50pm-5pm - last questions and goodbye
