Hi Arnau,
I'm not sure for the gLExec-wn we mentioned specifically whether it's
possible to upgrade or not. In any case it is not difficult to upgrade,
but here are so some concise instructions:
Only the default directory for LCAS and LCMAPS plugins has changed.
- If you use YAIM, you can just update and reconfigure and everything
should work.
- Otherwise you have to manually update the plugin locations in the
lcmaps and lcas db files in
/etc/lcmaps/lcmaps*.db
/etc/lcas/lcas*.db
to match the new installation directories for the plugins:
/usr/lib(64)/lcas and /usr/lib(64)/lcmaps
for LCAS and LCMAPS respectively (the old location was
/usr/lib(64)/modules for both). This change was necessary to satisfy
Fedora/EPEL requirements.
Note that there are no problems in mixing gLite and EMI-1 and EMI-2
services such as a CREAM CE or Argus server.
In case you have any problems, either with the upgrade or otherwise,
please let us know. The best mailing list for those issues is
