PHD STUDENTSHIPS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST OF ENGLAND, BRISTOL
In conjunction with the launch of a new 'Graduate School' at the University of the West of England, the University is offering a number of funded places to study for PhDs.

Closing date 13 May 2012.
The studentships are competitive across subject areas, but the Centre for Transport and Society (CTS) at UWE strongly hopes that there will be sufficiently strong candidates with transport studies topics such that one of these is hosted within the Centre.
Please note that in order for proposed topics to be supervised by members of CTS, they need to relate to our experience and research themes. In judging suitability for this call, potential applicants are strongly encouraged to examine the Centre's website for 'goodness of fit', and may also approach members of the Centre for informal discussions about ideas.
Please note that there are no nationality restrictions on applying, but the scholarship value is fixed, and will only fully fund applicants who are eligible for UWE's Home/EU fees rate. Applicants normally required to cover overseas fees will have to cover the difference between the Home/EU and the overseas tuition fee rates (approximately £6,800 per annum).
