Description
The School for Policy Studies is looking to recruit a lecturer to make a
core contribution to our BSc Social Policy and other policy-related
programmes and to contribute to our extensive portfolio of externally
funded research and high quality publication.
We are seeking to strengthen our team by appointing someone with expertise
in the fields of (i) core social policy concepts, theories and issues and
(ii) poverty, inequalities and social justice.
An excellent educator with some experience of delivering teaching in higher
education, we would expect you to engage in supervision and tutoring at
undergraduate and postgraduate level and to make a rounded contribution to
teaching-related administration, as required. We anticipate that the post
will be based in our Centre for the Study of Poverty and Social Justice.
Interviews will be held during May/June 2012. The appointment is available
to commence 1 August 2012 or as soon as possible thereafter.
