A date for your diaries! Dev8eD: Tuesday 29th – Wednesday 30th May 2012, Birmingham, UK.
Dev8eD is a new FREE event for developers, educational technologists and users working throughout education on the development of tools, widgets, apps and resources aimed at staff in education and enhancing the student learning experience. It will include training sessions led by experts, lightning presentations and developer challenges. So tell your managers it will be two days of hard work!
Confirmed sessions will include:
* Understanding and implementing the IMS Learning Tools Interoperability specification
* Exploring and sharing tool for learning design through a number of design challenges
* Widget store: Sharing widgets and tools to help you design, build and publish your own widgets
* Mashing coursedata xcri -cap feeds
* Node js
* Human Computation related to teaching and learning
* Other sessions to be confirmed
All participants will be able to share their own examples, expertise and opinions via the lightning sessions, workshops and informal networking opportunities.
The event (including accommodation) is free to all participants.
