Sciences Institute of Marseilles (ISM2), University of Aix-Marseille,
France. The position is available from the 1st of October, 2012 for
three years to work with Professor Gwang-Hi Jeung and Dr Denis
Hagebaum-Reignier at the theoretical chemistry group (CTOM), Marseilles,
France.
Project : "Methods and calculations of the excited states of
organometallic complexes"
This project includes the calculations of highly excited states of
organometallic complexes using standard ab initio methods as well as
methodological development for evaluating a lower bound to the exact
energy in quantum chemical calculations. More information is available
at http://www.ism2.univ-cezanne.fr/equipes/CTOM_1.htm
The successful candidate should hold a Diploma or Master's degree in
Physical/Theoretical Chemistry, Physics or related field. Good knowledge
of theoretical chemistry is required and practice in ab initio
calculations and/or programming are advantageous. Application documents
should be sent by email to Dr Denis Hagebaum-Reignier
([log in to unmask]) in
a pdf file including a cover letter, CV, copies of certificates, and a
