A few snippets from the above:
Debate on who should pay for the recovery of the bodies has been debated at
some of the proceedings, with the New Zealand government, the Pike River
Coal company which went into receivership after the explosion and the mine's
new owners Solid Energy all said to be looking at the matter.
But it has also been reported in New Zealand that recovery of the bodies
could be up to three years away.
Solid Energy last month announced it had reached a conditional agreement to
buy the mine and that it was looking to reopen it in the next few years.
Cheers
Roger
