Hi Wendy,
The good news is that it can actually be very easy to set up high quality
touch screen displays.
If you already have material in digital format you could be up and running
in a day.
I realise that it's early days for you, but we'll be very happy to loan you
a system to try out for yourself.
With best regards,
Dave.

Subject: Touch Screens
Dear All
Below is a request from Wendy at Ashby Museum please reply on list list or
off list to Wendy at [log in to unmask] .
We at Ashby Museum are thinking about installing a touch screen to enable
visitors to browse objects etc. in our collections not normally on show. We
are in the very early stages with this and although I have seen some
freestanding so-called”kiosk” type touchscreen designed for Museums and
similar venues, I realise that it is a complicated business. I wondered
whether any colleagues who have touch screens in their museums would be
willing to share their experience of choosing, installing and using them?
