We have three iPads in our museum using a variety of mounts.
We have found all to work well and be secure. We have a couple of practical points to pass on from our experience. Both relate to installing the mounts.
Try to make sure the mount is going on a flat surface as we found any curvature of the wall meant the mount was distorted and screw holes needed rethreading to line up.
The other point is if you need a longer power lead than the one supplied with the iPad the cable may be thicker than the mount allows for and this stops the iPad sitting snugly in the mount. A router is the answer but try not to go through the back of the mount (I only did in one place!).
