I'm forwarding this and another query on behalf of Germaine Warkentin,
in case any of you know the answer.

A local history conundrum, but a real one for me. Remote as it seems,
does anyone know of connections between Ridgewell in Essex and Kent,
between 1660 and 1690 or so? I realize I am grasping at straws, but
perhaps there is some connection -- trade, family, politics -- that will
be evident to a local historian but has otherwise been unmarked. On-line
searches have produced no results -- Ridgewell, though a busy town at
the time, is a tiny village now. Would welcome even a fragment of
information. Germaine
