You can't really do a statistical comparison on a single patient. If you
really want to go this route, do group (temporal concatenation) ICA on each
subject before and after the treatment. Use the dual regression script to get
"stage 2" results -- two volumes for each component, one from before the
treatment and one from after it. Pick the component you are interested in and
use fslmaths to compute the difference (i.e. via subtraction) between the
component before and after treatment. Your final result will have absolutely no
statistical validity.
A better way to approach this might be to run MELODIC and dual regression on
data from all subjects, before and after treatment, and then set up a paired
t-test on the stage 2 results.
