"Music" as a Character attribute can be perceived via sight (notation),
touch (braille notation), and hearing. Each of these distinctions is made
in a base content category by adding the appropriate Sensory mode. ISBD
does not have specific categories at this level of detail, although RDA
does. The same goes for the other ISBD content forms you mention. "Image"
can be be perceived via touch. Although the ISBD definition mentions
"intended to be perceived visually", it is clear that the ISBD content
qualification of sensory specification "tactile" can be applied to "image".
Note also that the RDA/ONIX definition also mentions "visually-realized
forms", but the base content carrier for a visual image has to add "sight"
as the Sensory mode. The same goes for "movement" (e.g. notated movement)
and "text" (e.g. braille).

Cheers

Gordon
