Request for assistance/participation...
The terms ‘LGBT community’ and ‘LGBT communities’ are often used, but how much do we know about how these are understood – or experienced?
A new UK research project aims to address these questions, and explore the impact on lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) health, wellbeing and ‘quality of life’, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council as part of the ‘Connected Communities’ programme.
For further information please see the project website: http://www.lgbtcommunityresearch.co.uk/
You are invited to assist/participate in the study in the following ways:
1. Please circulate this information within your networks
2. You can participate and contribute your views and experiences in three ways: via the project website, through attending a workshop, or by completing the survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LGBTopinion
3. Feel free to suggest references (your own or others) that you think would aid the literature review element of the study (I’m trying to cast the net as wide as possible to collate references from a range of subject disciplines)
For any questions or further information, please get in touch.
Many thanks, Eleanor.
