The Role
You will provide departmental-wide leadership for a functional area of Library Services whilst contributing to the overall development of Library Services through membership of the Library Services Senior Management Team. Working closely with the Library Services Directorate Team and Learning Resources Managers on the development, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures, you will manage the delivery of high quality and customer-focussed library services in support of teaching, learning and research within London College of Fashion and act as the senior local Library Services contact within the College.
Your Profile
With a relevant professional qualification in library or information studies you will have knowledge of developments in learning, teaching and research, including e-learning in the context of libraries and learning resources. With an understanding of the Higher Education sector, you will have the ability to set standards to achieve organisational objectives, continually reviewing levels of service and identifying ways of making improvements based on feedback and anticipated changes in education as well as experience of managing library staff teams and budgets.
