if you are able to read German books:
Hentschel, Kornelius (1997): Geister, Magier und Muslime. Dämonenwelt
und Geisteraustreibung im Islam. München: Diederichs [Ghosts, Magicians,
and Muslims. Demons' world and exorcism in Islam]
Hentschel is an Austrian Islamic scholar who works also as a tourist
guide and got a lot of contact to practicioners. The author describes a
lot of ceremonies and rituals in his book.
