Now, as the managing co-owner, a long time vegetarian and therefore
not an authority on Cornish Pasties (but I have eaten Cornishish
pasties in Real de Monte and Anaconda, to name but two - cream rice
and pineapple in the former), I would agree that there is a valid
point in discussing the food that travelled with the men and the
technology. We could have the same discussion over the spread of
particular branches of the Methodist denomination - but the pasty
discussion is breaking up into one-liners. Time to move on.
