Hello Experts,
I need a little help interpreting the results of the min to max range, in Renderstats GUI to display a stat image overlayed on the background image.
Specifically, if I choose:
min = 0.01
max = 0.05
Does this mean I am thresholding the stat image to display only 0.01 < p < 0.05?
As the program thresholds based on the min value, then it will not display any stats less than p < 0.01. This is odd to me as the smaller the p, the more significant, and the more I would want to display this.
If I set the min to 0.05 then the display shows any value greater than 0.05, the ones I am not interested in.
So it would make more sense to threshold (not the minimum p) but the maximum p, such that the display shows no p > 0.05? But it does not seem to be able to allow me to do that, as the instructions do explain: enter a threshold (Min) for the stats image(s). Any stats values below this will not appear in the colour rendered output. Any stats above Max will appear, all with the same colour as the Max value gets (ie yellow or light blue).
I have tried this out in a test case, and see that it behaves this way.
What am I doing/understanding wrong?
Thanks so much!
