There is some testing of glexec going on by Rod Walker and a few others. Its happening at Triumf mostly at the moment although they might use RAL.
The reason why ATLAS are interested again, is because it allows them to ssh into running jobs. Which means they can more easily debug jobs that get killed by the local batch system rather than by the pilot and provide no output log.
