It doesn't particularly need to be on the node, the points of
interest are that it needs a SUID executable, and it needs a
config file in a fixed location. AIUI everything else should
be relocatable, and the binary would work from anywhere that
doesn't deliberately block SUID.
However, on the packaging front, I don't think we ever actually
decided how the tarball glexec would be handled, but there had
been some suggestion recently that it would be bundled into the
worker node tarball. It may still be, but it's not as of now.
