Hi Catalin
I think the lack of further replies indicates that nobody in the UK is aware of gLite 3.1 working on SL5. I understand your concerns related to moving completely to the EMI WMS as per your message last week:
"I still have a problem with glite-wms-wm daemon on EMI WMS which has to be re-started regularly (see GGUS#79886), problem not yet seen at CERN.
Also the proxy delegation issue on EMI WMS became visible (or at least known by me) after I migrated 2 out of 3 WMSes at RAL. I'd like to avoid another problem of this kind."
Interestingly there are still over 90 instances of the gLite 3.1 WMS on the EGI Grid and only just over 50 with 3.3.x. You could perhaps ask on LCG-ROLLOUT if there is any 3.1 on SL5 experience outside of the UK but I suspect not.

Given some of the problems seen with various packages I was curious as to the situation across EGI and Tiziana and Peter took an action to review the status - that status was reported at today's OMB and I attach the summary slides. I have figures for gLite nodes in the UK which we can discuss further next week. In the meantime the proposal put forward to encourage sites off of gLite 3.1 is as follows:
