Dear developers,
I have a problem when compiling ast-6.0.0.tar.gz:
As discussed before, I use a patched version of automake/autoconf; the
patch is appended below. The problem, however, should be independent of
this patch.
When I run "./configure; make", the compilation runs fine. However,
after "make install", I get
[...]
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -last_wcslib
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -last_levmar
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
libtool: install: error: relink `libast.la' with the above command
before installing it
The full log of "make install" is appended as well.
This happens independent of whether the external or internal version of
PAL/SOFA is used.
Do you have any ideas what could happen here? It looks like that during
installation, it is tried to relink against already installed ast_wcslib
and ast_levmar libraries. These two libraries were successfully
compiled, but they seem to get installed only after the base library.
Best regards
Ole
