Chelsea School specialises in physical education, sport and leisure cultures and sport and exercise science and has a rich history of over one hundred years at the forefront of sports-related higher education. The school was ranked seventh nationally in the 2008 RAE. We are seeking to appoint experienced academics to help develop teaching and research within the school. The successful candidates will have experience of teaching in higher education, qualified to PhD level, and have a record of research activity reflected in publications, grants, and research projects. Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in the Social Science of Sport
In this role you will help develop teaching and research activity in the application of media, policy, marketing, and business in contexts of sport. You will help develop teaching and research activity in at least one and preferably two of the following areas: media, policy, international relations and development and marketing. Teaching will be to undergraduate and masters students and it will be advantageous to have experience of supervising students to PhD level, and a record of external research income. Ref: EC3019.
