I'm not sure what would have caused it to happen, but my guess is that
something went wrong when writing out the resliced images (full disk,
MATLAB crash, quota exceeded etc). Take a look at the size of a
resliced fMRI image file. It should be the same size as your
anatomical image. If it is smaller, then that may indicate the cause
of the problem.
