If you use SPM2, then there's a good chance that there will be a lot
of orientation confusion when you try to do anything with the images
in other packages. SPM2 was written before NIfTI was developed. If
you use SPM5 or SPM8, these are NIfTI compliant, so any images written
out should also be fine in other packages that handle NIfTI.
I've just tried spm_t2z, and it seems to work OK. What error messages
etc did you have?
