The most valuable thing about the Spenser Review is the abstracts of
articles and conference papers. When I was a graduate student, I spent
several days at the Newberry Library just reading back issues (it was
still the Spenser Newsletter then) and making notes. It was a good way
to catch up, and it is still a good way to keep up.
