Sandra,
If you have an area/room where she could relax and raise her feet in a recliner (or a first aid room with a treatment couch) that would be a big help for both the fatigue and the swelling. 30' breaks in the morning and afternoon are what we recommend and they have worked well in the past.

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Pregnant
Dear List
I have a client who is 30/40 pregnant. Seen her in the past for a DSE assessment and workstation complied with DSE Regulations. She is now c/o feeling very tired and some swelling in both legs worsening towards the end of the day and would therefore like to reduce her hours. I have offered to reassess her to ensure that we provide her with the right equipment e.g leg rest in view of swelling legs but she has refused point blank as according to her, she only needs her hours to be reduced and she does not have issues with her workstation. I have advised her to see her GP/midwife so that if there is a medical justification for these reduced hours then same can be recommended. I have explained to her that I felt it still early to recommmend reduced hours at this stage without a viable medical reason/health issue. I might have missed something important please help! Her other reason was that during the previous pregnancy she had these recommendations roughly at the same time. I feel stuck! Please help!
