We would like to remind you of the quickly approaching March 14th deadline
for submission of abstracts to be considered for oral presentation at the
2012 Gordon Seminar on Atomic and Molecular Interactions.
This Gordon Seminar is an opportunity for student and post-doctoral
researchers to present and discuss new research findings in the area of
chemical physics. The presentations will focus on four broad categories.
(1) Ultrafast Phenomena
(2) Excited States, Photoelectrons, and Photoions
(3) Chemical Reaction Dynamics
(4) Biomolecules and Clusters
The speakers will be chosen from abstracts submitted by March 14th.
Additionally, attendees have the opportunity to share their research
during two poster sessions. The program will also feature a keynote
address by Ken Jordon (University of Pittsburg) entitled “Accommodation of
Excess Electrons and Protons by Water Clusters” and a panel discussion
including Ruth Signorell (University of British Columbia), Andrew
Orr-Ewing (University of Bristol), Ken Jordan (University of Pittsburgh),
and Tim Zwier (Purdue University).
