Hi Johannes
At the British Film Institute we're using Adlib, and we implemented a data structure based on the new CEN metadata standard for cinematographic works (a hierarchical structure similar to FRBR - it features a Work / Variant / Manifestation / Item model but defined for film/video specific metadata requirements).
We worked with Adlib to revise some of their existing Archive module field and record structures to create what you might call a Film Archive module, and I believe Adlib will make that available as a product, with CEN standard compliance.
The CEN standard has a reduced element set model based on a 15 field Dublin Core paradigm, but again tweaked for film/video specifics.
We are planning to incorporate some elements from EBUCore/PBCore into our Item-level record structure - the Adlib system allows users to create new fields, define their behaviours, etc, so you can take whichever metadata models you find useful and incorporate the key elements.
Adlib also allows flexible and sophisticated data export / import functions with XML (or indeed CSV or Word templates if you require simpler data export), and that can be achieved from the system as a user, or from the API to drive more sophisticated approaches to data export/import. Adlib have some ready-made XSLT stylesheets for transforming output to meet standard XML schema, and of course you can develop your own XSLT to extend those possibilities.
