Interested in this as Equella is not necessarily our ideal solution but
much depends on institutional policies.

Hi all,
A minor update on the Digitised Resources Project we announced at the
user group, which you can see on the roadmap here -
http://support.talisaspire.com/entries/422000-talis-aspire-campus-edition-2012-roadmap-updated-january-16th-2012
and is defined as "intended to deliver the first phase of a new product
development intended to help customers work with digitised materials,
such as those scanned and mounted under the CLA license."
As Chris explained at the user group, the first step to this was to
consult with customers and further validate the ideas we have. To that
end, I know Chris and other members of Talis Education have been 'on the
road' quite a lot over the last two months at either end of the country,
spending time understanding the issues and workflow practices to better
evolve the vision.
Chris is currently on leave for a few weeks, but we'll be looking to
provide further updates on this research phase and any plans in the near
future.
So, watch this space!
Have a great weekend
Ian
