If your list has sections it is far too easy to remove a whole section and all the items within it. In Edit view, the section has Edit and Remove buttons next to each other (as shown in attachment). Click on Remove instead of Edit – easily done – and the whole section is gone, contents and all, and there is no way to undo this action. The only solution if you don’t have the items stored in your Bookmarks is to NOT publish it, go to the published version, make a copy and start over with the new list – lots of hassle.
I have put this problem on Talis Ideas but it hasn't exactly caught fire (one vote so far!). If you want Talis to do something about it please vote now! It comes under the heading "Accidental deletion of list or part of list".
In the interim, has anyone got a workaround, or a tip for us to use, to avoid this happening?
