Similar thing happening here with Windows XP and Word 2010, our shib links work fine from an e-resource or URL bar but not from Word.
Would also be interested in a solution.
Thanks,
Susan

Yes, we have experienced this with Dawsonera deep-links. Couldn't get to the bottom of the problem though so would be very interested in a solution if one is out there.

Subject: [lis-e-resources] Ebook linking problems in Word
Hello,
We're having problems with links to some of our ebooks in Word documents. Title or chapter level URL links for DawsonEra will work fine if pasted directly into the browser address bar or from a pdf or an email, but in a Word document they go to the DawsonEra home page rather than the specific resource. The problem seems to have started when we upgraded to Windows 7 and Word 2010.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Can you suggest a solution?
Thanks!
Sarah
