Hi Sarah,
For our main providers we've set-up a page at:
http://www.soas.ac.uk/library/resources/apps-and-mobile-versions-of-databases-and-e-journal-websites.html
And also publicize via Twitter/FB and our monthly e-bulletin.
I do tend to find the authentication aspects very fiddly - the worst
being ebrary
which doesn't use shibb or Athens but Facebook connect to authenticate!
