**Reflective Writing for Chartership Workshop**
The University of Abertay Dundee
http://www.abertay.ac.uk
Date and time: 13:30 - 16.30 Wednesday 21st March 2012
In both our professional and personal lives we are able to learn most
effectively by reflecting on activities/experiences, evaluating them
and applying that knowledge to other activities/experiences.
This workshop consists of both presentations and exercises. It is
suitable for Chartership, Re-validation and Certification candidates,
and indeed anyone who wishes to reflect more effectively on their
personal and professional development. There will be a chance to look
at Chatership portfolios, more specifically evaluative statements, as
well as discuss and share experiences of reflection in the Chartership
process.
Learning outcomes:
- To understand and recognise:
* Why we reflect
* What reflective practice is
* What reflective writing is
* How to write effectively
- To practice reflective writing
