Heya,
> It would also make sense to discuss the problems that people have sent to the list?
I've got a few things that I want to discuss but sadly I'm babysitting
server moving men tomorrow. I'll post one of my requests to the list
tomorrow (I'll be asking people to check their dpm databases for
zombie entries on dead pools). The other thing I was going to ask is
"Is having Core Dumping enabled in your dpm as default a reasonable
thing to do?". Its been a great help to Lancaster & RHUL, but I'm sure
we've all seen or heard some horror story where a core dump has ate
all our disk space (although the dpm ones seem reasonably well
behaved).
I'll also see if I can wrangle a decent blog post from the recent
Lancaster experiences - no promises though!
Cheers all,
Matt
