Subject: job offer
Dear Dr Saldanha,
I am well aware of the fact that it is not customary to send job offers
directly to other university institutes. I hope that I will be forgiven,
though, as we, the University of Applied Sciences in Würzburg, Germany,
experience severe problems trying to find a successful applicant for a
position currently on offer.
The job in question might interest graduates holding a degree in
Translation Studies from your university. It is a full-time tenured
professorship (German Beamtenstatus) teaching translation German into
English (English native speaker). Further information can be found at
www.fhws.de/stellen/454.htm. Our working atmosphere is excellent, and
Würzburg is a pleasant town which offers a wide range of leisure activities.
Unfortunately, we have not found eligible applicants yet, although we
have used a variety of methods, including itit and other lists. We would
therefore be grateful if you could make this job offer available to your
graduates.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions
([log in to unmask]).
Thank you very much
Heike Elisabeth Jüngst
