Hi All ......it's that time of year again where proposals for summer works are being looked at. Yet again I'm sure I will be asked to squeeze more staff into even smaller work spaces and offices!
I know that the "welfare regs gives a guide of 11 cubic metres per person for office space but in teaching the majority of teaching staff time is spent in the classroom teaching ....probably around an 80-20 split for time teaching staff spend in classrooms to department offices!
My question is ......is there anything written in guidance to relate to the amount of time teaching staff have to spend in the office to gain the full 11 cubic metres per person? ...or is the classroom designated as the main workspace of teachers?
Regards
Nigel
