Yes, this is quite sad, but funny too. Reading the review (which
certainly has put me off reading the anthology - though I suspect that
is not its intention) made me laugh out loud - if Angela Topping is
using a string of cliches to describe her favourite poems then chances
are that.......well....... you know......
Lord knows what's happened to Salt but I'd also like to ask why Rupert
accepts such shallow dross onto his site? I saw him two weeks ago.
I'll go back and ask him.
