The University of Manchester (Biostatistics Group) is looking to appoint a new Professor of Biostatistics, with a special interest in cancer studies.
The post holder will work principally in the area of biostatistics as applied to gynaecological oncology. In Manchester this is a well developed research discipline thereby offering much opportunity for biostatistics method development. The post holder will work to improve clinical outcome in Manchester and elsewhere and liaise with biostatisticians in the Faculty to develop research, where appropriate, in other disease areas.
