Actually, Jon, the scholars who write on these issues, myself
included, use these terms very precisely, even when we sometimes may
not agree on the nuances of the definitions. The European New Right
is a distinctive, named, political movement with broadly self
determined principles. Popular usages and scholarly usages of these
terms, are, of course, different.
And personally, I believe that embracing the notion of meta genetics
while believing it does not lead into supremacy, or at the least
separatism, is a very slippery slope indeed, in addition to just not
reflecting an accurate picture of how culture works.

Whether Linkola is telling 'the truth' is a moot point, but his unflinching approach is sometimes a refreshing change from the capitalist friendly environmental approach that relies on us buying slightly different carrier bags. His article in Vol 3 of Tyr is a deeply unpalatable read, while at the same time raising some very important questions.

However, I also think there is also a need to re-think exactly what is meant by 'far-right', 'New-Right', 'Fascist' and indeed 'Marxist', 'Stalinist' or 'Totalitarian' and what is necessary for a set of ideas/ practices to be accurately placed within that definition. One can believe in socialist collectivisation without condoning the Ukrainian genocide and similarly it is possible to be committed to the notion of meta-genetics (viz the Asatru Folk Assembly) without being supremacist.
