I know there has been a lot of useful work done on integrated care and
telecare (analysis presented at the Kings Fund conference suggests there are
few savings even in the WSD pilots) but the thing that seems to be missing
is any input or control from or by the patient - or involvement of the
informal networks we all rely on.
So I've updated Fred's problems again.

There has to be a workable compromise somewhere between the needs of care
providers (Fred isn't their only patient) and of the patients involved -
each of whom will have different needs.
Has anyone found one?
