Is the service desk phone number one that you already have
independently on file, if so ring it, if not ring the one you do have,
and if explain the failure in their approach.
We still (though rarely now) get PCT staff complaining when we a) ask
for proof of identity, b) ask them to sign our confidentiality
agreement and c) refuse them access to data they don't need even after
they have signed the above.............
