Dear All,
Following on from Jon's email (see below), Geraldine Pratt from UBC has
also kindly agreed to an open seminar on the ethics and politics of
research-based testimonial theatre next Tuesday 13 which might be of
interest to people on this list.
Following her lunch time talk "Creating New Spaces of Politics: Nanay: a
testimonial play" (12.15, City Centre), the seminar wants to be a space
for theatre practitioners, social researchers and community activists to
come together, share knowledges and experiences about recent projects in
London and abroad, and discuss practical and methodological issues on
the relationship between qualitative research and performative
re-enactments.
The details are:
Tuesday 13 March 2012 from 3.00-5.00pm in the City Centre Seminar Room,
Francis Bancroft Building, School of Geography, Queen Mary, University
of London
All welcome, please RSVP to [log in to unmask]
Best regards,
Mara
