Hello all,
Please find the ticket summary for tomorrow's Ops meeting below. My
usual apologies for any staleness of anything below, and some additional
apologies as I will be late to tomorrow's meeting.
Cheers,
Matt
25 tickets this week.
Kashif has fired off a couple of tickets to sites having nagios test
problems, they seem in hand.
NGI
https://ggus.eu/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=80259
Ticket chronicling the creation of the new neuroscience VO. Already
contains useful information.
https://ggus.eu/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=79428
Continuing SNO+ ticket. Lastest updates contain a request for SNO+
support at other WMSs (RAL or otherwise)
UCL
https://ggus.eu/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=80366
https://ggus.eu/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=80331
Two different tickets both pointing to dpm problems. Is the UCL dpm
having trouble?
Tier 1
https://ggus.eu/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=80253
Kashif updated the cert of the gridpp nagios machine and is running into
problems with using the tier 1's myproxy server due to the change in DN
(from the removal of the e-mail address field in the UK CA). Something
to bare in mind for any other myproxy using services in the UK.
https://ggus.eu/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=80237
t2k jobs were dying due to using too much RAM (and/or not asking for
enough of it in the first place). Looks like the ticket can be closed.
Birmingham
https://ggus.eu/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=80153
Request for more information about the upgrade from dpm 1.8.0 -> 1.8.2
by Mark. I can't remember the details myself.
Oxford
https://ggus.eu/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=80148
No reply to Brian's ticket yet. Could have been missed as these tickets
haven't actually been assigned to a site.
Bristol
https://ggus.eu/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=80125
CMS transfer issue brought up last week. Winnie's reply knocked it back
to "in progress", I set it back to "waiting for reply" for a reponse to
Brian's query. Does the original problem even persist?
Durham
https://ggus.eu/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=79880
No news on these lhcb "Maradona" errors. Are they still there?
A pick from the last week's solved cases:
https://ggus.eu/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=80181
To support SNO+ your workers need the curl-config package.
https://ggus.eu/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=80247
Lancaster reinstalled a handful of workers and fell afoul of selinux
causing atlas jobs to die.
