Dear all,
the Royal Statistical Society has been asked to shortlist 6 early-career statisticians and/or mathematicians that would be interested in participating at the "Voice of the Future" event in Parliament, Wednesday, March 14.
You would be part of a broader audience of other young scientists and engineers in a "real time" Select Committee inquiry.
Young scientists will be asking questions in an actual Parliamentary Select Committee room, and the BBC has expressed
an interest in filming the event live.
If you are in your 20's and interested, please send as soon as possible
- a short CV
- together with three questions that you would like to ask the MPs ( for example on EPSRC Fellowships, the future of mathematical sciences in the UK etc. )
directly to
Andrew Garratt, Press and Public Affairs Manager, Royal Statistical Society, [log in to unmask]
Please contact Andrew directly if you have any further questions.
All the best and good luck,
Oliver Ratmann
on behalf of the Young Statisticians Section of the Royal Statistical Society
