Hi,
We're about to use WebPA with real users as part of our pilot here at Cardiff. Ideally I'd hoped to do this with WebPA 2.0. We have courses in two schools that are doing peer assessment of group work as a paper exercise, and they are keen to find ways of sustaining it, and interested in how well WebPA would fit their workflow. They would ideally like integration with our Blackboard, and mindful of the forthcoming upgrade bringing some database changes it seemed sensible to wait and get people started on that (rather populate the old version with users then delay the upgrade until we could safely migrate all the data, and teach users about the changes).
I'm meeting lecturers in our Engineering school tomorrow about using it this coming semester, and they will give me the dates of their assessments. I know they will be interested in whether we can offer Blackboard integration - depending on their timeframe we may still have time to use the new version if it is close to release (ie in the next few weeks), is this a possibility? Or should we be go with 1.0.6 and put off upgrading until the summer?
Simon
