'After Neoliberalism'
Neoliberalism is, as Habermas once said about modernity, dominant but dead. There are six crucial moments in the death of neoliberalism, and this talk works through these, but the crucial question is: what comes next? 2011 gave an intimation of what could come, and the globalism of the response together with the fact that there is even a US response -- Occupy -- makes this a crucial political moment like none others since the 1970s.
No need to reserve a place, all welcome!
Professor Loretta Lees, Chair: Cities Group, KCL.
