Dear Colleague
The Economic and Social Research Council, in partnership with Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs and Her Majesty's Treasury, jointly invite outline proposals for the establishment of an independent Centre for Research on Tax Administration. Applications may be made for up to £2.5 million (at 100 per cent fEC) for a period of up to five years.
Proposals are invited that offer high quality research and related activities on tax administration able to strengthen the theoretical and empirical understanding of the design and delivery of tax operations and policy. It is expected that the centre will develop new approaches and insights to exploit the data resources available through the new HMRC Datalab and the Secure Data Service.
