China-Based Hackers Target Law Firms to Get Secret Deal Data - Bloomberg China-based hackers looking to derail the $40 billion acquisition of the world's largest potash producer by an Australian mining giant zeroed in on offices on Toronto's Bay Street, home of the Canadian law firms handling the deal.

Over a few months beginning in September 2010, the hackers rifled one secure computer network after the next, eventually hitting seven different law firms as well as Canada <http://topics.bloomberg.com/canada/>'s Finance Ministry and the Treasury Board<http://topics.bloomberg.com/treasury-board/>,
according to Daniel Tobok, president of Toronto-based Digital Wyzdom<http://www.digitalwyzdom.com/>.
His cyber security company was hired by the law firms to assist in the probe.

Vatican's Secret Archives turn 400 years old The Vatican Secret Archives began under *Pope Paul V*. It was officially opened 400 years ago on January 31 in 1612. It's called "secret" from its Latin name "secretum" meaning "private". Since it opened, it's become the private archive of the popes.

Subject: Sharing Sharepoint

Is there anyone willing and able to share some of their experiences of using SharePoint 2010 as an EDRMS?

I am at the front end of a project to deliver just this. I would like to hear your recommendations or warnings.

My current thinking is to have a single page or library per corporate function. I want to try and load up a 'corporate file plan' into the managed metadata service. I am trusting a lot to views to let the document creators see their current work stack.

Is this reasonable or does it always come back to folders?

Site visits or some sort of tech version of the same would be useful too if things can be arranged.

Many Thanks

Chris
