Please consider attending the upcoming 2012 Gordon Conference on Atomic & Molecular Interactions, which is scheduled to take place July 15-20, 2012 at Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts. A description of the conference focus, links to the Stonehill College site, and a preliminary program are listed on the GRC website for the conference (http://www.grc.org/programs.aspx?year=2012&program=atomic). There will be four hot topic talks chosen from among the poster presenters.
In order to attend, you need to apply on the GRC web site. We anticipate having funds to partially support the registration fees of graduate student and post-doc attendees, but early application will ensure consideration for such support.
Note that we also will have the first inaugural AMI Gordon Research Seminar for graduate students and post-doctoral research associates on July 14-15, with Amanda Case and Julia Lehman as chair and vice-chair, respectively. This is an excellent opportunity for students to be introduced to key topics, give presentations (either oral or poster), and interact with key scientists regarding career issues.
You can contact either of us with questions.
Timothy S. Zwier (Chair)
Sharon Hammes-Schiffer (Vice-Chair)
